A flexible and robust yield function for geomaterials

چکیده
This paper presents a new Modified Cam Clay (MCC) type yield function, that is designed for robust and efficient use with implicit stress integration algorithms. The proposed function attains non-elliptical (e.g. tear bullet) shapes, as well the typical elliptical shape of MCC model. Like MCC, unlike most other functions shapes available in literature, it non-singular unique throughout space. experimental yielding stresses wide range geomaterials have been accurately simulated using surface. can be used constitutive models based on classical elasto-plasticity theory. • A flexible proposed. surface meridian schemes. derived thermodynamically but all models.
